Optimal Dispatch Model of Electricity-Gas IES Considering Dynamic Carbon-Green Certificate Trading Mechanism

Abstract

To improve the low-carbon economic performance of electricity-gas 
integrated energy systems (IES), an optimal dispatch model for the IES considering dynamic carbon-green certificate trading mechanism is established. Firstly, an environmental-friendly IES framework considering dynamic carbon-green certificate trading mechanism is established. And a dynamic carbon-green certificate pricing mechanism model is constructed. Secondly, a dispatch model is established with the goal of minimizing the comprehensive operating cost, The pollutant emissions such as SO2 and NOx generated by the coal-fired units were incorporated into the model as environmental penalty costs, and the constraints of the power and gas systems were also comprehensively considered. Finally, the example shows that compared with the electric-gas IES that only considers the traditional carbon-green certificate trading mechanism, the model proposed in this paper reduces the wind curtailment by 324.16MW•h, reduces the operating cost by 13.34 ten-thousand yuan, and reduces the emission of pollutants such as SO2 and NOx by 48.82kg. The results show that the dynamic carbon-green certificate dynamic pricing mechanism could effectively improve the wind power accommodation rate and reduce the operating cost and pollutant emission in the electric-gas IES.
