Prof. Mingchao Xia, Vice President of Shenyang University of Technology, China

Prof Mingchao Xia,IET Fellow,Vice President of Shenyang University of Technology. Mainly engaged in research on transportation-energy integration, analysis and control of new distribution networks, power demand-side management, and the application of power electronics in power systems. In recent years, he has presided over 1 key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 3 general projects, 1 key research and development plan project, and 2 sub-projects (tasks); published more than 50 SCI/EI indexed papers, obtained 13 authorized invention patents and 2 software copyrights; published 2 national planning textbooks and 1 monograph; won 1 first prize of the Invention and Entrepreneurship Award of the China Invention Association, 1 third prize of the Zhejiang Science and Technology Progress Award, and 1 second prize of the Beijing Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award; and was awarded the title of “High-end Talent” under the “Xinglian Plan” of Dalian City.

Prof. Junyou Yang, Shenyang University of Technology, China

Prof. Junyou Yang is a prominent Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at the Shenyang University of Technology (SUT), China. He earned his B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering, establishing a strong foundation in advanced power and control systems.His cutting-edge research spans virtual synchronous generators, smart grids, non-intrusive load monitoring, and intelligent robotics, including healthcare and assistance robots. An active proponent of global academic integration, Prof. Yang heavily contributes to international research networks, high-impact scientific publications, and institutional partnerships. His work actively advances the fields of renewable energy integration, grid stability, and industrial automation, driving innovation and fostering collaborative talent exchange between global research centers and SUT.

Prof. Hassan Bevrani, University of Kurdistan, Iran

Hassan Bevrani received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Osaka University in 2004. Currently, he is a full professor and the Founder of the Micro/Smart Grids Research Center (SMGRC) at the University of Kurdistan. Over the years, he has worked as an invited and visiting professor at several universities in Iran, Japan, Australia, France, Germany, and China. He is the author/coauthor of 10 international books, 18 book chapters, and over 500 journal/conference papers. Prof. Bevrani is a Fellow member of IEEE, the chairman of the Control Chapter and the Promotion Committee of the IEEE Iran Section. He was awarded the Allameh Tabatabaei Scientific Medal (National Foundation of Iranian Elites, 2025), an Outstanding Professor (Iran Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, 2022), IEEE Lifetime Research Award (IEEE Iran Section, 2025), and a Distinguished Professor in Electrical Engineering (Iran Academy of Science, 2025). Prof. Bevrani has also been awarded the prestigious Medal for the Promotion of Electrical Engineering Science by the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (IEEJ) in 2026. His current research interests include microgrid operation and control, power system stability, and Intelligent/robust control applications in the power electric industry.

Prof. Seddik Bacha, Université de Guyane, France

Prof. Seddik Bacha is a distinguished Full Professor of Electrical Engineering, currently affiliated with the University of French Guiana, having previously established a long and eminent career at Université Grenoble Alpes and the Grenoble Electrical Engineering Laboratory (G2Elab) in France. He received his Engineer and Magister degrees from the École Nationale Polytechnique of Algiers, Algeria, and his Ph.D. from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble. An internationally acclaimed authority in power electronics and energy management, his core research interests lie in the modeling, control, and optimization of distributed energy resources, microgrids, electric vehicle integration, and renewable energy systems. Recognized with the prestigious EPE Outstanding Service Award, Prof. Bacha actively drives global academic and industrial partnerships through his extensive leadership in doctoral supervision and international collaborative research initiatives.

Prof. Komla Agbenyo Folly, University of Cape Town, South Africa

Prof. Komla Agbenyo Folly is a distinguished Full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Cape Town (UCT), South Africa. He received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Tsinghua University, China, and earned his Ph.D. from Hiroshima University, Japan. An internationally recognized expert in power system stability, control, and optimization, his research focuses on the grid integration of renewable energy, smart grid infrastructure, power system resilience, and the application of computational intelligence. A former Fulbright Scholar at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Prof. Folly is a Senior Member of the IEEE, a Fellow of the South African Institute of Electrical Engineers, and serves as an editor for the Journal of Energy in Southern Africa, actively driving global advancement in sustainable energy systems.

Prof. Mauro Cappelli, Sapienza University of Rome, University of L’Aquila, Italy

Prof. Mauro Cappelli is an accomplished academic and researcher in electrical and nuclear engineering, holding contract professorships at the Sapienza University of Rome and the University of L’Aquila, Italy. He earned his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome and serves as a senior researcher at ENEA, the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development. An expert in nuclear engineering and advanced control systems, his research focuses on nuclear fusion and fission physics, real-time control models, and instrumentation for low-carbon energy infrastructures. Prof. Haixin Wang, Shenyang University of Technology, China

Prof. Haixin Wang is an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical Engineering at the Shenyang University of Technology (SUT), China. He earned his Doctor of Engineering degree and completed advanced postdoctoral research stays at both SUT and the School of Engineering at Cardiff University, UK. His research focuses on cyber-physical systems, wind power generation, virtual synchronous generators, and the stability and optimal dispatch of power systems with integrated renewable energy. A frequent collaborator on international initiatives, Dr. Wang actively contributes to high-impact scientific publications and develops advanced data-driven frameworks for industrial and grid automation. He plays a vital role in fostering international research exchanges and advancing modern power electronics technologies.

Prof. Dan Micu, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania  

Prof. Dan Doru Micu is a distinguished Full Professor and Director of the Energy Transition Research Center at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering alongside a degree in mathematics from Babeș-Bolyai University. An internationally accomplished researcher and educator, Prof. Micu has served twice as a Fulbright Senior Fellow at the University of Florida and holds a part-time professorship at Beijing Jiaotong University, China. His research focuses on numerical methods, energy analytics, electromagnetic field optimization, and energy efficiency in buildings and industry. He has managed numerous international research grants, including multiple prestigious Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020 projects, and has authored over 300 scientific papers and 12 books, driving global advancements in sustainable energy technologies.

Prof. Fausto Pedro García Márquez, University of Castilla-La Mancha, Spain

Prof. Fausto Pedro García Márquez is a Full Professor at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), Spain, and serves as the Director of the Ingenium Research Group. He obtained his European Ph.D. with maximum distinction, establishing a robust background in advanced analytics and industrial engineering. An internationally recognized expert in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and reliability engineering, his research focuses on predictive maintenance, advanced analytics for renewable energy systems, and cyber-physical infrastructures.
